Palm Springs Pride 2026: dates, parade, lineup

Palm Springs Pride 2026 takes place from November 6 to 8, bringing three days of Pride celebrations to this always sunny city in California. The annual event is organised by Greater Palm Springs Pride, a nonprofit organisation supporting LGBTQ communities locally and globally.

The weekend includes the Palm Springs Pride Festival and the city's annual Pride Parade, alongside a whole slew of events and community activities. Palm Springs Pride is one of the major LGBTQ events on the city's calendar and one of the last US Pride events of the year, bringing the celebrations to the heart of one of America's best-known gay destinations.

Pride Parade and Festival

The Palm Springs Pride Parade takes place on Sunday, November 8 at 10 AM. It steps off from Tachevah and Palm Canyon Drive, then travels south through downtown, ending at Amado, where the entrance to the Pride Festival is.

The Palm Springs Pride Festival runs throughout the weekend across Palm Canyon Drive, Arenas Road and Museum Way. Admission is free, with multiple outdoor stages hosting live music, DJs and performances. The Arenas District Stage and DJ Stage kick things off on Friday, before three stages operate across Saturday and Sunday.

Festival hours stretch well into the evening, including entertainment in the Arenas District until 11:30pm on Friday and Saturday. Visitors can also explore more than 200 marketplace exhibitors, nonprofits and food and drink vendors, alongside the Children’s Headquarters and a dedicated Youth Zone.

On Saturday, November 7, the Palm Springs Pride 5K Run & Walk starts at 8 am. The 3.1-mile route travels through the historic Old Las Palmas neighbourhood on a mostly flat course lined with palm trees and classic Palm Springs homes. The event raises funds for ten local LGBTQ+ organisations, including Palm Springs Pride.

Planning Your Visit

Palm Springs Pride takes over a large section of Downtown Palm Springs, with festival areas around Palm Canyon Drive, Arenas Road and Museum Way, so staying centrally puts visitors within walking distance of much of the weekend’s activity.

On parade morning, expect road closures and increased traffic around Palm Canyon Drive, so walking or using rideshare services is generally the easiest way to reach the main Pride areas.

With the festival continuing after Sunday’s parade, it is worth allowing the full weekend to experience the live stages, outdoor parties, Pride 5K and parade rather than visiting for a single day.
