WERK! @ Triangle (CLOSED)

Went to the espanol Latino event by accident and wonder where’s the drag queen and hot guys. Ok i know you’re here to only attend the gay event. So go and follow their Facebook page and make sure it is the correct event before going or you’ll be confused and disappointed ok. -Where are the hot guys???

Taipei’s moody weather sometimes gets in the way of having a good time, but Triangle’s situated in Maji Square where there’s usually a good vibe with people bringing their own vibe, dancing and chatting outside the club. Inside Triangle, the WERK Party rages to House music from 11pm. Great mixed crowd, reasonable drinks at the bar, lovely drag shows and gogo boys, and lots of fun queer people having a good time. Nice people go. Join them!

Love the music!! This is probably the only gay party in Taipei that plays real funky and groovy house music. ( but if u are looking for top 40 commercial or EDM kind of scene , then this is not for u) The vibe is laidback as well as the crowd. Drag shows and Gogo boys are fun to watch! And it’s definitely a good place to meet lots of cute local and foreign guys!

Not so many things going on there. Overpriced drinks and shittiest quality. They only do this thing on the gay themed night. Other days are not so bad. The music is lame as well, just sounds lazy. I was so excited when I saw the review over there, now it turns out to be fake...

The music was fun. the crowd was just incredible -- it was one of those gay-mix parties where pretentions and inhibitions were left behind. And the small club, Triangle, really rocked. It seems to be in some park. Or under a train station. Or left on the sidelines of an artist enclave. It is also one end of a an arc of bars and restauarants with outdoor seating. The overflow crowd seemed to be helping itself out to all this made-to-order chillout space. The Taipei gay scene seems to be building new energy. If you're in Asia, avail yourself to the region's budget airlines and get yourself to Taiwan.You're gonna love the place. I highly recommend being in town when Werk has an event. See you there, baby.
