Walter Anderson Museum of Art

The Walter Anderson Museum of Art in downtown Ocean Springs explores the work of Walter Inglis Anderson, a Gulf Coast painter, writer, and naturalist whose work was deeply tied to the Southern landscape. Alongside permanent installations, the museum puts on rotating exhibitions and visiting artist showcases.

Just behind the museum, The Traveler Café & Art occupies a renovated century-old building, combining coffee, food and contemporary art. Almost everything there, from the furniture and plantings to the coffee cups, has been designed, curated, or made by an artist.
