Studs Club (CLOSED)

Visited this place in 2016, went into this place to speak to my then bf with whom i had a fight.. management kept shoving a drink in my face.. i told them to give me a min I just wanna talk to my bf.. and he was super rude and asked me to leave.. trust it was worst night i ever had and he made it sure it was worst.. that 3 years later when i broke up , I did make it a point to write this review for this gentleman and his club.. Most pathetic place I ever been in my life..

Bruges is a beautiful city with tons of places to discover, unfortunately Studs is not one of them. The owners are extremely rude and the clientele is inexistant. Don't waste your time there.

This is by far the worst gay bar I have ever been to. As other customers have pointed out before, the owner is extremely rude and unwelcoming. The bar is small and dirty and the atmosphere is dodgy and awkward. The drinks we had were overpriced and watered-down. We didn't stay long and definitely wouldn't come back - there are a lot of other nice bars in Bruges and you can meet LGBTI people everywhere. Go to Republiek, Groot Vlaenderen, Blend, Café Pick... you name it. But don't even consider wasting your money in this bar.

I came into "Studs" with an open mind and ready to have a very good night. We have been living in Bruges for a year, we are very much integrated and polite, but we never went out to the gay scene and were really eager to discover it. The bar is incredibly tiny inside, but we still thought that we could have a nice time. However, as soon as we entered, we ordered a drink and the boss came up to us and confronted us because we were two persons and we had not ordered two drinks! We thought we would order one drink first, then another one, have some fun, and order some more. But the boss was NOT HAVING IT. We felt so unwelcome, that we had to leave immediately. Not only was the place almost empty, but the boss was screaming at us to order more. We told him about the peculiarity of LGBT spaces, how they should be a safe haven for LGBT people, that we had just arrived and were about to buy more drinks, but the boss WAS JUST NOT HAVING IT. So he threw us out. All in all, this is just another pathetic gay bar, with a very unwelcoming boss. The only thing they got going for themselves is that they have absolutely no competitors: they are the only gay bar in Bruges. However, this bar is so bad, that even with absolutely no competitors, it is still better to stay AWAY from it. It is small, the music is extremely dated, the boss is extremely unwelcoming... I would give it zero star if I could, but google won't let me. I have been living in Bruges for a year, and this place is without a doubt the worst thing I have encountered. Stay away from it.
