This was our first nightlife stop in Osaka. The bar is very small, as most Osaka bars are, but there were around 10 people there when we arrived. The 3 bartenders were very friendly and gave us lots of help on finding other bars in the area. We were really happy we had stopped in, until we got our bill for 4 beers. 4800 yen! 1200 yen per beer is almost double the going rate of beer in Japan, usually 600 - 700 yen. We thought maybe Osaka was more expensive than the other parts of Japan we had traveled to, but every other bar we went to, and we went to many, only charged 700.
