Amici Praga

A regular at friends staff are very friendly security also friendly and cloakroom staff are friend. Definitely a must when In Prague Don’t understand the negative comments. I can’t speak Czech but the staff is always accommodating to English speakers.

Visited there on a saturday night and it was pretty good. Cloakroom only costed 20 CZK and it was really convenient especially in such a cold weather. There was a lot of young people that day and the atmosphere was really nice. The music was awesome and I had a really great time.

Their facebook page says they accept credit cards, however very rude cloakroom attendant asked to pay for cloakroom in cash and did not allow us to get in with jackets. We asked if we can add cloak room cost to the bar tap, he rejected and told us to leave and find ATM. Super rude and not welcoming at all! FRIENDS PRAGUE and nothing friendly inside.

We were a group of gay friends from various countries and wanted to enjoy a drink in a nice place. We were not welcome at Friends, staff was really rude and arrogant. Security guy was the worst. I will not recommend that place to foreigners visiting Prague. We found another gay bar Flirt, walking distance from Friends, where staff was very pleasant. If you are foreigners AVOID Friends.

We were invited to leave the bar because we did not want to leave our jackets, we even bought drinks and the security approached us with terrible manners and gestures, barely saying a word, we were confused, then the bar waiters tried to help but they were ruder than the young security boy. At the end we had to leave because the security was getting aggressively rude, at the entry no one told us we needed to leave our jackets we did not understand why after we bought our drinks? The worst they were local people with their jackets and nobody told them anything, FRIEND was not friendly at all, it ruined my friend’s birthday! We walked under the rain to be able to enjoy the gay life in Prague, terrible!
