Green Mountain Inn

This attractive and classic village resort dates back to the year 1833 and is located at the heart of Stowe. Just outside the door guests will find unique shops, galleries, hiking trails and skiing opportunities. Renovated in 2005, the hotel consists of a 3-storey main building and a 2-storey annexe building, with a total of 105 rooms. Within the air-conditioned buildings, guests are received in the lobby, which houses a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and a cloakroom. Further facilities include an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant, a games room and a breakfast room. The Whip Bar and Grill is a historic and popular place to stop by for a bite to eat. The laundry service can also be taken advantage of (for an additional fee) and parking is available free of charge. The unique rooms are appointed in early American design and come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, a direct dial telephone and satellite/ cable TV. A radio, a queen-size and a four-poster bed are also provided in all of the carpeted accommodation units as standard. Air conditioning and heating are both individually adjustable. There is a heated swimming pool in the grounds. Guests also have the opportunity to relax in the hotel's hot tub, sauna or work out in the gym. For an additional fee, it is possible to enjoy the massage service and a health club is also available.
