Portland Pride returns on July 18-19, 2026 with a two-day Waterfront Festival along the city’s riverfront! This weekend brings together live entertainment, community organisations and LGBTQ+ celebrations across downtown Portland.
The Portland Pride Waterfront Festival & Parade 2026 is one of the largest donation-based LGBTQIA2S+ Pride events on the West Coast. Taking place at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, the event attracts tens of thousands of visitors from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond!
What to Expect at the Portland Pride Waterfront Festival
The festival serves as a major visibility platform for Portland’s LGBTQIA2S+ community organizations and businesses, ranging from small high school GSAs to large international corporations. Attendees can explore booths, meet local artisans, and enjoy food vendors and entertainment.
All proceeds from the $10 suggested donation go towards funding Pride Northwest’s year-round programs and ensuring the continued success of this event.
The Waterfront Festival
The festival runs as a key part of Pride weekend, offering space for exhibitors ranging from school GSAs and grassroots nonprofits to regional organisations and international companies. Across both days, the Waterfront becomes a central hub for community engagement, fundraising, volunteer recruitment and outreach, alongside live entertainment and Pride programming throughout the weekend.
The Parade
The Portland Pride Parade takes place on Sunday, July 19, and will begin at 11:00 AM from the North Park Blocks and continue along Naito Parkway to the festival. The parade is approximately 1 mile long, with an estimated duration of 20-30 minutes for participants to march the route. Contingents in the parade can expect to wait approximately 2-3 hours before entering the parade route, depending on their staging area.
Participants can register to bring one vehicle or float (additional vehicles can be added for a fee) and up to 200 marchers. The parade will feature a colorful array of floats, performers, and community groups, all united to raise awareness for LGBTQIA+ rights and visibility.
