Gay Brighton

Brighton is perhaps one of the UK's most popular seaside towns and certainly a destination and hub for the LGBT community. Its large LGBT population has meant it's often called the "unofficial gay capital of the UK" and one of the happiest places to live in the UK - who knows whether the two are linked!?

Brighton Pride is one of the country's biggest pride festivals with former headliners such as Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue and it's probably no surprise that there are a good number of LGBT bars and venues in the town.

Only an hour's train ride from London, Brighton is a perfect destination to visit for a day trip from the capital. Be sure to check out the quaint shops in The Lanes as well as the iconic Brighton Pier.
